Session storage is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab. It is not shared across tabs or windows, and is not transmitted to our servers.

6. Chat Widget Cookies

When a business embeds the Kwata Chat widget on their website, the widget may use:

  • Session storage: To maintain the chat conversation within the current browser session
  • Visitor ID: A randomly generated anonymous identifier stored in session storage to associate messages within a single visit. This ID is not linked to any personal information and is cleared when the tab is closed.

The chat widget does not set persistent cookies or track visitors across sessions.
